10/17/15 Midway Cafe (21+)
10/23/15 Middle East Upstairs (18+)
We’re still going through the fancy, fancy photos from the night (as we know our pals Steve Latham and Eric Law caught some great pics!), but we just could not wait to share our cell phone snapped photos with everyone. Did you take pics at the show? Share ’em with us on Facebook
or tag your Instagram with #crashsafely and we’ll share!
In the meantime, check out these pics taken by the Midway staff:
Are you ready for Night Two?
We always have fun at the Midway, and Saturday promises to be no exception! Maybe you heard Watts and The I Want You on Boston Emissions. Maybe you heard Gene Dante and Mark Damon on Bay State Rock. Maybe you’ve been eagerly awaiting the full length version of Badger the Figgs have just released on limited edition vinyl.
Maybe having all of that talent on one show just isn’t enough. Maybe you need to win things. Things like a big pile of Redbox gift cards. Tickets for the NY Skyride. Bowling for (up to) 6 people at Kings (that includes shoe rentals, by the way). 5 pounds of whole bean Death Wish Coffee, plus ground coffee, plus a cool t shirt, mug and Death Wish swag. A Newbury Comics gift certificate. A Mary Kay gift certificate. A signed photo of big Vince Wilfork from the Patriots.
Feeling more like an auction? We’ve got that, too. Auctions for studio time. A Keurig brewer + case of coffee, a dinner cruise on Boston harbor with a hotel room. A 5 day/4 night Cancun vacation. A Gibson Les Paul Future Tribute.
Plus, we’ll have rare Figgs merch, a chance for you to win the handwritten lyric sheet to Pete Hayes’ “The Bar” and freebies!
And all of the money raised at the show goes to the National MS Society!!
The cost of admission to all of this? $10.00. Seriously! Will we see you Saturday?
All hosted by Pete Hayes!
Up for grabs ONLY at this show:
Death Wish Coffee Gift Set (we’ll be peeling you off the ceiling of the Midway if you attempt to down all 5lbs of Death Wish at once, trust us)
Bowling for 6 people at King’s (including shoe rentals)
Enough Redbox gift certificates to keep you company on a cold winter night
Signed photo of New England Patriots’ Vince Wilfork
Two tickets to NY Skyride (up your Bacon number instantly!)
Newbury Comics gift certificate
-Handwritten lyric sheet to the Figgs’ tune “The Bar!”
-Rare and vintage Figgs merch!
All of the proceed for the ticket sales, raffle, silent auction and The I Want You’s single, “Blame It On Tomorrow” go to the National MS Society.
Think you don’t know anyone with MS? Think again:
Watts have been super busy this year! In case you’ve missed it, they’ve played with Cheap Trick and The Standells, in addition to a run with Sidewalk Driver and The Silks (who just played with fellow Crash Safely participants Township).
Amazingly, Watts found the time between all of these amazing shows to record, and there’s a new single on the way on the 29th! Check it out here:
Crash Safely will be your chance to get up close and personal with the band ( and score one of their cool new shirts)!
So, who’s playing Crash Safely this year? Check it out above!
